During each legislative session (held on odd years), the North Dakota County Commissioners Association lobbies on behalf of the interests of county government and its commissioners. It is the NDCCA's goal to administer public policy at the local level.
Grassroots efforts take place statewide on off legislative years through regional meetings, and other informal gatherings. A legislative agenda or set of resolutions is passed each year during the NDCCA annual meeting held each October.
The NDCCA cooperates with the North Dakota Association of Counties on most legislative topics. For more information on legislative happenings, visit our grassroots legislative services center.
